Why “Two Hearts?”
Our name, Two Hearts Kitten Rescue, is the result of our co-founders having each experienced the incredible, almost transformational, impact that an adopted pet can have on our lives. “Two Hearts” is meant to celebrate the loving bond that occurs when an individual or family opens their heart and home to save the life of an animal in need, and the unwavering love, loyalty and companionship that’s reciprocated as a result.
Championing this undeniably special bond is at our core and has shaped everything from our logo design to our internal procedures to the community programs and services we plan to launch.

2020
Foundation of Two Hearts Kitten Rescue
Two Hearts Kitten Rescue was founded with the mission to save the most vulnerable kittens and provide them with a loving start to life.
2023
First 100 Kittens Rescued
We celebrated rescuing our 100th kitten, marking a significant milestone in our journey to make a difference.
2024
Launch of 24/7 Foster Support Program
Introduced an innovative support system for foster families, ensuring round-the-clock assistance and resources.
2026
Expansion to New Facility
Opened a state-of-the-art facility to accommodate more rescues and enhance our care capabilities.
